BA.X Inventory Tool

To simplify/accelerate inventory for materials and batch-managed materials, an inventory solution has been developed that allows for the correction of erroneous data during the physical execution, conducting evaluations (e.g., comparing target vs. actual stock locations, differences, etc.), and obtaining a result on the current inventory prior to the actual transfer of the count results into the SAP standard.

Direct count list integration

Generation and provision of count lists directly in Excel from the module. Direct provision of count results from the tool into SAP.

Status-managed records

Active status tracking at any given time, including transmission, modification, and display of the associated data.

Extensive functionality during inventory

Editing, rebooking, and relocation based on the count results directly from the module without prior creation of an SAP inventory document. Ability to query inventory and view scanner results based on the provided count results.

Overview of variances

Behind the button ‘Discrepancies’, the user receives a graphical overview of the current inventory result. The result is displayed in terms of quantity and value. The discrepancies are listed in a form that can be printed before creating the SAP inventory ticket.

Process/Integration SAP Standard Inventory

Creation of SAP inventory documents after successful counting; creation of documents from the inventory tool with one mouse click; integrated check to ensure all customizing settings are present, all transport orders are acknowledged, and all storage locations are initialized (WM); direct provision of count results in the inventory documents; booking of discrepancies with SAP (standard) transactions with one mouse click.

Compliance with legal retention obligations

The legal obligations for retaining inventory results for 10 years are met. All processed, deleted, and provided records are stored and can be reviewed and evaluated at any time in the transactions for inventory analysis.

Interim inventory checks

Possibility for interim inventory checks; identical process as with a regular inventory (without inventory document creation).
