BA.X PEX

The smart production data acquisition

PEX provides you with a smart production data acquisition (PDA) system that convers the entire production process and collects order, personnel, equipment, and process data for each individual step.

An important aspect: Your production staff can enter operating data via intuitive, web-based PDA dialogs that are optimized for touch screen usage. Using the data, collected from ongoing operations by the PDA system, you can find out about the current situation on the shop floor and monitor the progress of production orders.

PEX is fully integrated into SAP S/4HANA. This means that it uses established SAP objects and functions, retrieves data directly from the SAP system, and stores operational data directly in the SAP system. With PEX, you can continue to use your existing SAP in-house solutions without any problems.

Performance recording

Realtime performance recording of employees or work centers. The recorded performance data can be divided into setup, processing, teardown or variable process times.

Quantity feedback

Tracking of production progress in terms of quantity, by recording quantities for e.g. yield and scrap.

Material usage

Overview of material consumption and update of stock levels. This simplifies the inventories, and it also ensures a smooth and timely start to the restocking process.

Input support

All entries are checked directly for plausibility and correctness. This reduces incorrect entries and significantly increases the data quality.

IM Batch

Exact tracking of batch-managed material consumption. This ensures a realtime view of stock levels and guarantees traceability of material usage in the event of customer complaints and other product quality issues.

WIP Batch

In the production process, batchmanaged materials in SAP were only recorded as input or goods receipt batches so far. Individual worksteps
were not tracked. With the use of WIP batches (work-in-process), you will open the „black box“ of the production process. Any changes to the characteristics of the material are updated and stored for later evaluation.
