BA Bulk & Scale Handling (BASH) fully maps goods receipts and goods issues as an end-to-end process. SAP objects and SAP applications are embedded in one continuous process and complemented by apps from the BASH solution that simplify operations in bulk material logistics.

While order processing and posting continue to take place as usual in the SAP system, our user-friendly BASH apps support employees in operational control.

  • Delivery  Control: Central overview of all incoming and outgoing deliveries. All information, from truck registration to posting in the SAP system, converges here.

  • Truck Check-In: Registration of trucks delivering or picking up goods.

  • Scale Control: Weighing of trucks for the precise determination of the delivery weight.

BA Bulk & Scale Handling runs as a side-by-side solution on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and connects to your existing SAP S/4HANA system via the SAP Cloud Connector and standardized SAP APIs.

We provide the software in a preconfigured SAP Work Zone Advanced environment tailored to your processes and take full responsibility for hosting and operations.

Order processing, quality inspections, and goods movements continue to run in your SAP S/4HANA system as usual, while BASH handles the operational steps such as check-in, weighing, and process execution—enabling a seamless end-to-end workflow.

The Bulk & Scale Handling solution is fundamentally hardware-independent and communicates with the weighing infrastructure via a standardized API.

Hardware integration is implemented through a customer-specific local edge service.

From a technical perspective, both modern digital scales and legacy systems with serial interfaces can be securely connected.
